Terms of sale and use
These terms cover ordering The Wife of My Youth through this website and using the website. The seller is Samuel Owere, Kampala, Uganda, reachable on WhatsApp +256 752 610 655.
Ordering
The order form prepares a WhatsApp message for you to send. Sending it is a request to buy, not a completed sale: we reply in the chat to confirm availability, the total, any delivery fee and how you will pay. The sale is agreed when we both confirm it there.
Prices
Prices are shown in Uganda shillings (UGX). The paperback price is shown on the home page. Delivery is charged separately and agreed in the chat before you pay. If a price on the site is ever wrong, we will tell you before you pay, and you can cancel.
Payment
You can pay on pickup, on delivery, or by Mobile Money, as agreed in the chat. Never send money to a number that was not given to you in a chat with WhatsApp +256 752 610 655.
Pickup and delivery
Copies can be picked up at Enjoy Book Shop, Wandegeya, Kampala, or delivered to an area we agree in the chat. Delivery times are agreed there too.
If something is wrong with your copy
Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and we will put it right with you. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ugandan consumer law.
Content and copyright
The book, its cover, the text and the photographs on this site belong to Samuel Owere or to the people who took them, and may not be copied or reused without permission. Reader photos are shown with the permission of the readers who sent them; to have yours removed, message us.
Using the site
Please use the site lawfully and do not try to disrupt it, break its security, or send automated or misleading orders. Links to other services (WhatsApp, maps, calendar, social media) are provided for convenience; those services have their own terms.
Liability
We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by the site being unavailable or by other services it links to.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version on the day you order applies to that order.
